Introduction

Maps are a central part of many adventures. What would Treasure Island be without the map to the treasure? How many of you have followed Bilbo's journey in The Hobbit using the map in the back of the book? Most fantasy novels contain a sketch map of the world or realm created by the author and these always help set the scene for the novel. One of the reasons I became a geography teacher was my love of maps. Most years I take at least one walking holiday in Britain and the planning of walks using the excellent OS maps is part of the fun, especially finding silly names.

This site contains some of my maps that are not linked to adventures or an existing role playing setting. The majority were created for a possible RPG setting called the Undrar Peninsula while others are just random maps that were for adventures that never got written, yet.
Most of the maps are drawn using ProFantasy's Campaign Cartographer Suite. An excellent program that does take some learning but paitience is rewarded.
