Oils & Potions
Oil of Weapon Enchantment
This oil, when smeared upon a weapon, acts the same as the spell 'magic weapon' and has the same duration.
A flask has enough oil to coat one large, two medium, 1 medium and two small or three small weapons.
Once opened all doses MUST be used immediately as once exposed to the air the oil loses its potency.
Cost: Caster's level * 20gp (as there are in effect two first level spells in each flask).
Wonderous Items
The Eye of the World
- The Eye is an immovable object.
- It cannot be used without considerable training requiring 5 ranks of scrying to operate. Thereafter for each rank of scrying the user has a 10% chance of successfully using the device that day (to a 100% chance at 10 ranks).
- At will the user may call upon the devices powers of Comprehend languages, Darkvision, Detect Chaos, Detect Evil, Detect Good, Detect Law, Detect Magic, Message, Read Magic and Tongues when using the Eye of the World.
- The Eye cannot be fooled by magic that interferes with scrying such as False Vision, the 'Eye' shows only mists and a warning gong sounds.
- The user gains the benefits of a Detect Scrying spell (as page 193 PHB).
- The scrying check is absolutely standard and is detailed on page 247 PHB (Scrying) and page 211 PHB (Greater Scrying). The Scrying skill is detailed on page 73 PHB.
Weapons
Current Owner: Eliade
History: Created by the Horselord but after that it's ownership is unknown.
Description: Rapier +3 intelligent weapon.
Stats: Charisma 14 (+2), Intelligence 16 (+3), Wisdom 14 (+2). Ego [+ 3 (+ 3 weapon), + 2 (2 primary powers), + 2 (1 extraordinary power), + 4 (special purpose), + 3 (reads 3 languages), + 3 (intelligence bonus), + 2 (wisdom bonus), + 2 (charisma bonus)] = Ego 21 (Will + 1d20 to counter)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.
Primary powers:
- Free use of Blind-Fight.
- Intuit Direction: 10 ranks.
Extraordinary powers:
- Haste (10 rounds, 1 per day).
Languages: Speaks and reads Common, Elf and Under Common.
Special purpose: To defeat or slay the servants of Nerull - DM use only in pursuit of this cause will grant - On hit Cause Fear DC14 Will to save, should PC be deemed to be fulfilling the special purpose.
